Dental Excellence Video 18: Specific Detail for Porcelain Veneer Preparations

Dr Stephen Phelan April 8, 2017

This is the 18th video from my Dental Excellence video series.

In this new training, I share a new video I filmed with my Zeiss microscope teaching you about a specific detail for porcelain veneer preparations.

This new training will use clinical video footage filmed with my Zeiss dental microscope to teach you this simple but highly effective technique.

Thank you again for being a member of my online community and remember.

You can do this kind of dentistry!

I believe that beautiful dentistry with precise fit and occlusion is not just for the gurus.

All the best,
Stephen

P.S. We all know the importance of the diagnostic wax-up. This new Dental Excellence video uses a putty fabricated on the diagnostic wax-up that I section to guide the veneer preparations.

If you are interested in this kind of dentistry, I believe you would enjoy my new online seminar. Altering the Vertical Dimension Case Studies.

On cases where there is ‘excessive’ overjet & you don’t want thick restorations to gain anterior contact, why don’t you restore similar to a Class 2 jaw relation & just get maximum incisal contact in a protrusive excursion…thanks

Many thanks for sharing your clinical knowledge. I was in Germany last week and was quite amazed at the advancement the digital world. The TMJ and function today is a topic listened to by many. The fact remains that larger cases here in Finland end up with specialists with sometimes minimal skill. As a GP, I have done quite abit of total reconstructions in the UK., and I see that with your kind of dedication I can be better.
